Exclusive Interview With Lunaa Maria, a Singer Songwriter and Entrepreneur Raised in Brooklyn
The question in everyone’s mind is that who is Lunaa Maria? If you aren’t familiar with Lunaa Maria, you are definitely in the right place. We had a chance to interview Lunaa Maria from Brooklyn, NY.
Lunaa Maria is a singer and songwriter, entrepreneur, and event curator born in the Dominican and raised in Brooklyn. She graduated from Bilingual College with a Psychology degree and currently works for the Assembly Member of the 54th district in Brooklyn, NY. Her passion for music started at a very young age.
This is what she has to say in the interview.
Lunaa Maria – Oh Yes! my Mother! She is my number 1 supporter. She is my team! There was a time in life from 2016 to 2020 where I was an event curator, I put together art galleries and fashion shows in Bushwick, Brooklyn as a way to help my fellow creatives network and make some money off their art and business. My mother would leave work and help me set everything up, she’d make sure everyone had a spot on the wall or vendor table and she’d make sure everyone was having a good time as well as handling whatever money was made from the event. She helps me in everything I want to achieve in life, when I was in middle school she’d pay for acting classes for me, set me up with studios, helped me get gigs, accompanied me to studios, conference meetings, performances, and invested in my dreams. That lady has done it all!
Lunaa Maria – It would be to continue with my events hopefully worldwide, where artists would submit their work and It’ll give artists from around the world an opportunity to network, showcase their art, and also make some money for themselves as well. I’d allow vendors to sell their products and performers a chance to show us their performing art.

Mr. Husband unveils a foot-tapping truths and heartland fire on latest release “Is It Real?”
Mr. Husband returns with an engaging, refreshingly authentic release in “Is It Real?”, an uptempo heartland-rocker that walks a fine line between familiarity and originality with remarkable ease. The track is built on a unique lap-steel-through-womb tone element, creating a sound that is both open and entirely its own, pulling the listener into an emotional musical journey from the very first note.
The song starts with a carefully crafted drumline that instantly sets the momentum. The guitar and bass come in. They blend easily to create a warm, energetic base. A subtle tambourine quietly weaves its way through the arrangement, never asserting itself but adding just enough texture to keep the rhythm alive and kicking.
The opening lyrics of “Is It Real?” are contemplative, with the arresting first lines “I’ve been bottoming out tonight, I’ve been wondering if I’m going anywhere, a little hope is hard to find.” Many listeners will immediately recognise the sense of uncertainty and searching in these words. But rather than wallow in uncertainty, the song channels those feelings into something more positive, driven by its propulsive instrumentation and infectious groove.
“Is It Real?” is the kind of track that gets your head nodding and your feet tapping without trying too hard. There’s a real feel to the energy, grounded in solid songwriting and a genuine desire to connect with the listener rather than impress. The tune has a classic heartland-rock feel to it, but there are some sonic touches that make it stand out and give it its own identity.

Wyn Calico create the need to support with his latest release “Support”
Wyn Calico steps into deeply personal territory with his latest single, “Support,” a heartfelt offering that addresses a feeling many people know, but rarely express so openly. It’s a song about the universal desire to be encouraged, recognised, and uplifted, turning personal frustration into a relatable message of resilience.
“Support” is a meditation on what it feels like to work tirelessly for something you want, but not have the support you need to fully achieve it. Wyn Calico expresses the emotional burden of wanting to make a difference, believing in your purpose, and still moving forward when you hit setbacks. The song is not only about disappointment, but also a rallying cry of resilience in the face of adversity.
This song also highlights an important truth, there are many talented and hard-working people out there who have everything it takes to make a difference, except the encouragement and opportunity to flourish. Wyn Calico’s lyrics and delivery shine a light on that struggle and offer a sense of solidarity to those in similar situations.
“Support” isn’t just a personal statement. It’s a conversation starter. It encourages us to think about the value of community, support, and believing in each other. Wyn Calico’s latest drop is honest, relatable, and emotionally driven, a powerful reminder that even in the moments of isolation, the desire to keep pushing forward is still stronger than ever.
