Honk! was a print publication in the 1980s that showcased alternative and underground culture through interviews with creators, satirical articles, and comic strips.

In October 2019, Honk Magazine, formally known as Honk! Magazine was relaunched as an online platform under the ownership of a young entrepreneur, Samuel Odu, catering to a global audience with a collection of content in celebrity photos, entertainment, lifestyle, music, news, and fashion. Our primary objective is to become the Leading African-American Entertainment Media Brand, providing a powerful platform for music and sponsorships.

The publication aims to set the standard for credible, undiluted, and diverse content in the digital age by adopting the formats of renowned publications such as EARMILK, Thisis50, TheSource, Vibe Magazine, Spin Magazine, HotNewHipHop, and others. Our social responsibility is committed to upholding the highest standards of respect, diversity, and gender equality. We recognize its impact and aim to safeguard the health and dignity of our team, customers, interviewees, and the wider public. We celebrate the ever-changing entertainment industry and its goal of amplifying the voices, stories, and experiences that shape our world.
