Must be niiiice!

If Quavo is a glacier boy, Lil Baby is a glacier GAWD who celebrated his 26th birthday opening an astounding array of extravagant gifts that included cash from NBA superstar zillionaire James Harden, a rare $200K Richard Mille timepiece from forever bae Jayda and a $300K Bentley from QC CEO Pee Thomas that raised the bar (yet again) for the rapper’s birthday bash.

“Don’t Play With Him 🎁🎁 How the fucc I get a bag full of honey buns with a honey bun an a Richard Millie !! Mannn @jharden13 brooooo wtf !! An I’m drunk”

The 26-year-old “Yes Indeed” rapper added the icy jewels to his massive collection fit for a king who amassed billions of streams in 2020 along with countless award nominations, celebrity mentions, and collabs in the biggest year of his career.

At this point, it’s safe to say Baby is the hottest rapper in the game who recently revealed his plan to donate the $1.5 million he made from his smash single “The Bigger Picture” to an organization that focuses on helping his community.

Following all of the uncertainty and chaos in 2020, Lil Baby wrote: “The Bigger Picture” that gives his perspective on how we can all make the world a better place. While this seems to be something the rapper is comfortable with, this thought-provoking record showed fans a side of Lil Baby that they had never seen before.

“The Bigger Picture” topped the charts and was nominated for the Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for the upcoming  2021 Grammys. He hasn’t announced what organization he’ll be sharing the proceeds with but the rapper revealed he does have plans to tell his fans exactly where the money is going.

Hopefully, more influential rappers follow his lead and realize that have more power than they know.

As if he hadn’t already blessed fans this year, the busy rapper is closing out 2020 with a bang by dropping two new singles and videos for his songs “On Me” & “Errbody.”

Slim Thug Confronts Stalker Found Sleeping In His Garage

H

In a surprising and unsettling turn of events, Houston rapper Slim Thug found himself dealing with a woman he believes has been following him was discovered sleeping in his garage, suitcase included. Slim Thug shared this bizarre encounter with his fans on video, showing his discomfort and shock. He couldn’t believe that, as he tries to go about his daily life, he’s dealing with unexpected and unwelcome visitors due to his fame. “How did you get in here?” he asked the confused woman, expressing a mix of frustration and disbelief.

This wasn’t the first time Slim Thug had seen this woman. He recognized her from previous instances at his gym and other places he usually visits. What had seemed like random meetings turned out to be part of a concerning pattern that crossed personal boundaries. Her choice to invade his space and make herself at home was too much for him. “Why are you sleeping in my garage?” he demanded, clearly upset. “Stay away from me. This is just wrong.” For Slim Thug, this incident isn’t just a one-time scare.

Earlier in 2023, another woman was arrested for similar behavior towards him. While these incidents may sound dramatic, they highlight the difficulties that public figures face in balancing their lives and personal safety. Fans often view celebrities as larger-than-life figures, but situations like this remind us that they encounter real dangers, sometimes even more than ordinary people. Slim Thug’s calm yet firm response to this uncomfortable situation and his choice to share it publicly spark an important discussion about safety, respect, and the darker aspects of fame.

Even though the encounter didn’t turn violent, the emotional impact is real. Being famous can bring wealth and attention, but it also attracts unwanted attention and challenges, like Slim Thug just experienced. Hopefully, this unsettling experience serves as a reminder for everyone to respect personal boundaries, regardless of how famous someone may be.

Lil Wayne’s “The Carter VI” Misses No. 1 Mark With A Whimper

H

After two decades of being a major player in rap music, Lil Wayne’s iconic The Carter album series seems to be taking its final bow. His latest release, The Carter VI, launched with a lot of excitement but has made a surprising debut at No. 2 on the charts, which is the lowest opening in the series’ history, selling 114,000 copies in its first week. To put this in perspective, that number is still impressive for today’s music scene, but it falls short of the 116,000 copies that his first album, Tha Carter, sold back in 2004.

It’s a bit surprising that his original album, released during the era of CDs, outperformed his latest digital release. The Carter VI features a star-studded lineup, including artists like BigXThaPlug, Wyclef Jean, and Nicki Minaj. Yet, it hasn’t made the impact that fans or critics were hoping for. Even with an energetic guest appearance from Nicki Minaj on the track “Banned From NO (Remix),” where she takes shots at Jay-Z and Shannon Sharpe, it didn’t seem to change the album’s momentum. Wayne also tried to generate excitement by releasing a collaboration with Lil Baby and Future called “Momma Don’t Worry” just days before the album came out.

Although the track had strong lyrics and great production, it didn’t quite take off as expected. LL Cool J even added some classic flair by performing at Wayne’s event in Madison Square Garden, right before Wayne debuted his new song “Bells,” a fresh take on an old favorite. Despite having all the right elements for a classic release, surprise appearances, strategic promotions, and live performances, The Carter VI lacked the lasting impact that the earlier albums were known for.

Whether it’s because of listener fatigue, changing music tastes, or the heavy expectations of its legacy, this latest album feels more like a quiet farewell than a big final celebration. For fans, this marks the end of an era led by one of hip-hop’s legends, finishing not with a grand exit, but rather a soft goodbye. Nevertheless, Lil Wayne’s influence on the music world continues to be significant, even if his last Carter album didn’t quite reach the top. As this chapter closes, it’s evident that Wayne hasn’t lost his touch, he’s just come down a notch this time.
