J.R.Clark ‘The Motivational Type’ Proves That Quality Music Still Has A Place In Today’s Hip-Hop Climate

The Virginia rapper’s debut project is at its best when he delivers organic and assertive lyrics that encompass topics that tackle ownership, financial freedom, business elevation, consistency, and motivation during dark times while being an independent artist in a totally dominated virtual industry. All motivation and true lyrics from the Virginia artist J.R.Clark, releasing his 7th album “The Motivational Type“, which was inspired by Rick Ross, Nipsey Nussle, Dave East, J. Cole, and Nas.
Additionally, plenty of rappers beseeches for the attention of the younger demographic, though this may sound dissonant, J.R.Clark tackles topics that concern today’s rap climate. Be SafeOwnership and Elevation Speech sets the tone for the album by illustrating how the rapper had thoughts of throwing in the towel and ending his rap career, but after watching Nipsey Hussle interviews, Rick Ross, and Russ commentary on Instagram, and even Young Dolph interviews about being a full-fledge independent artist, the rapper J.R.Clark ingested the motivation to drive forward and refrain from negative thinking. The body of this album hits a home run when track four Life Ain’t Fair, track five Hitting Different, and track six Undefeated is introduced, which delivers hard-hitting 808s and filtered kick drums that sound equivalent to today’s climate in hip-hop.

The rapper embraced this opportunity to pinpoint his attention towards how he grew up in the streets from toting firearms to shooting out with rival gangs to ownership and understanding how the music business operates, and what it takes to flourish as an independent entity. By contrast, the 757 rappers J.R.Clark lunged into his luxury bag with Convertible Muzik and Gold Labels, these records offer the high life type of energy, but and the same token a side of J.R.Clark’s personal life in terms of relationships with a woman who sought to enhance her way of living by leeching onto J.R.Clark way of living. Moving forward and to conclude the album,  Never TrendingWindows Up Please, and From the Wise illustrates how the rapper graduated from the block to college to obtain residual income.

“During the process of recording this album, I listened to a lot of motivational dialogues from Rick Ross, G-Herbo, Young Dolph, Nipsey Hussle, and Russ……This artist mentioned offered free game and insightful knowledge about the ins and outs of the music industry and what it takes to flourish as an independent artist and have your brand established and solidified.

Kyle Ashen’s sun-drenched recollection with new release “That Local Girl”

KYLE

Kyle Ashen’s latest release, “That Local Girl,” is a gorgeous trip down memory lane, a country single that explores that golden glow of memory, like flipping through old photographs touched by salt air and summer sunlight. It’s warm, cinematic, and deeply relatable, a song about the kind of love story that never quite goes away, even as time moves on.

“That Local Girl” is filled with imagery that quickly takes the listener into a world they can walk right into. You got a blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl on a boardwalk street by the ocean, a souped-up truck driving through town, neon lights reflecting off the ocean breeze, and the electric innocence of young love burning in the background.

But under all that cutesy trapping is something more than that, longing. Some people, some places that leave permanent marks on Kyle Ashen and us know that. What’s so brilliant about this song is that it marries those two ideas, making love and hometown memory feel beautifully inseparable. Sometimes you miss a person. And with that person, you miss an entire version of life. “That Local Girl” is more than a country love song from Kyle Ashen. He is a living postcard from the past, sun-faded, bittersweet, and glowing with feeling. A reminder that summers pass by, but some memories stay with us forever.
