Kenyon Glover Backlash Continues; Caught Hoodwinking, Ousted From Film Role After Assaultive Behavior Reveal
(Exclusive Details) No one said it was going to be easy, but multiple controversies have put ex-NBA player, model and actor Kenyon Glover in a negative light. Glover has found himself embroiled in a controversy over exaggerations, half-truths and straight up lies including falsely claiming he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
More seriously, he also has been charged with a domestic violence offense for one woman, is being accused of sexual abuse, is the subject of more than one active restraining order across North America and a California judge recently ruled that he assaulted a different woman.
In addition, in recent days, Glover has been relieved of duty from a role in the human trafficking film series ‘E40S’ (Every 40 Seconds). Chong Kim, the powerful critically acclaimed filmmaker behind the project confirmed his services have been terminated. Said Kim in a statement, “He has been removed and is no longer associated with E40S.”
Who is Kenyon Glover, the American public figure caught in the middle of a media storm? Today, we dig deeper on the illusions behind Glover. And we find out how the public figure is addressing the dark legacy of the many allegations surrounding the former professional athlete. Glover has been a cast member on the CBS drama The Young and The Restless and RuPaul’s Drag Race, the American reality competition television series, produced by World of Wonder for Logo TV and VH1.
The Instagram personality has been embroiled in a few controversies as of late and here’s all we know. The troubled influencer is under scrutiny for many falsehoods depicted on his social media and over the internet in general.
Making matters worse, investigations into his personal life have yielded some damning results. Many outlets have dug into Glover’s background and the reports reveal the “staggering” levels of deceit surrounding the controversial influencer. Thus far, Glover has not disputed the findings in the Men’s Vanity report.
Glover has sparked controversy with the uncovering of false claims that have sent shock waves throughout the world and the investigations have turned into a disaster.
These stories have gotten a lot of attention, with headlines about Glover sharing misleading stories or taking activities out of context. In essence, the reports suggest that Glover’s success has been built on a foundation of secrecy, false claims, and a trail of deceit that even his own representatives struggle to explain.
It was revealed that Glover has multiple allegations of assaultive behavior in a major investigative report published last week by the London Journal.
For now, the police haven’t taken any action on the sexual assault case. Glover admitted to a victim that he had almost killed a man and had gotten away with it. The domestic violence charge might not have any impact. All the allegations made by several victims have only resulted in a mild slap on the wrist, according to two sources familiar with the situation.
But ultimately, according to a source close to the uproar, the impetus thanks to careful reporting, it’s clear that there’s a lot more happening behind the scenes and it could all expand into something far more serious before long.
A report issued just over a week ago in Rolling Hype confirmed that Glover had admitted to the domestic violence charge. This new report on the sex allegations and the impact on Glover’s Hollywood career is in response to a series of articles investigating widespread sexual misconduct against the newsmaker.
One thing did change, though. After the reveal of the sexual misconduct claims, more investigations brought forth information in ways that could not be detected or uncovered.
Meanwhile, the investigation confirmed that Glover lied about being inducted into the Hall of Honor at his high school last year. He also maintained multiple associations on different posts that proved to be false or half-truths.
Each example in these reports contrast with the public persona of the actor—and minister—known for preaching about integrity and truth through his words over all of his social media channels.
Although he has been active on his social media in recent days, Glover didn’t bother to refute any of the things said about him.
At the same time, Glover has even more questionable events happening, specifically when it comes to his business practices. That’s the takeaway from a damning investigation from The Texas Mail. The paper spoke with several people familiar with Glover’s ministry who offered strong insight; they include alleged offensive online behavior by the minister that some have grown concerned about in addition to Glover’s lack of accountability.
According to The Texas Mail, several anonymous sources familiar with the ongoing investigation into Glover’s internet misconduct deemed it “inappropriate.” The publication notes that Glover generally is not bothered by such accusations, as evidence suggests, and did not adhere to societal norms.
“Minister Kenyon does not adhere to societal norms. He says he’s not wired like that, and that he is an original,” one source stated. “He believes he’s above the law.”
Meanwhile, an insider close to the situation confirmed that in his California court case, Glover tried to distance himself from any affiliations with Los Angeles. It was noted that when questioned by the judge if he maintained any business in Los Angeles, Glover replied, “No.”
That court filing also revealed the fact that Glover resides in Dallas County, not Los Angeles County. A closer look into the court case is very telling because the court made mention that Mr. Glover had a California driver’s license. The judge also took notice that Glover maintains a California phone number. Glover’s telephone number is currently listed on his website and also on IMDbPro.
In recent times, Glover claims ownership of a company on IMDb as the CEO, and it allegedly occupies an address based in Hollywood. At press time, the actor lists his primary Linkedin account location as Los Angeles. Glover constantly wants to present the impression that he is based in Hollywood, California, or Los Angeles, The Texas Mail reported.
According to the paper, Glover, a verified Texas resident, does not have any legal business enterprises in the state. The key findings released by The Texas Mail reveal the “staggering pattern of unlawful activity.” The bombshell report highlights some of the controversies concluding Glover’s controversial businesses and legal issues. The newspaper found that Glover, although he claims online to operate at least eight businesses, has no existing records or taxable entities in the state of Texas.
The ousted actor has come under fire for reportedly engaging in unlawful business practices. Glover’s obvious lies on social media prompted eagle eyes to scour the internet and outlets have uncovered even more deceit.
Following the release of The Texas Mail report, we thought there had to be other whereabouts of Glover’s businesses. Since the actor maintains California connections, we checked in The Golden State to try to locate his companies.
Honk Magazine couldn’t find any records linked to Glover in the state of California either. Friday, we verified the information with the California Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber’s office as well as the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder. What we discovered was, as is the case with Texas, there are no California companies found for Kenyon Glover; not under any of his claimed enterprises, including those listed on his public profiles, such as IMBbPro.
“We believe that he is engaged in some sort of business or enterprise,” according to sources. The sources added that “the fact that nothing is coming up for him shows his blatant disregard for lawfulness, fairness and transparency.”
And the fact that his businesses have become so integral to his everyday branding for many social channels has tremendous fallout potential. The bottom line is that the future and impact of those brands’ credibility are not certain either.
There is a significant legal issue here; Kenyon Glover Films, KG Films Production, KG Enterprises, Fitness Beats Depression, Faithful & Focused Ministries, KG Entertainment Group, KGX Experience nor Kenyon Glover Enterprises could be found in any database.
Honk Magazine also researched existing California DBA’s to see if any were connected to Kenyon Glover and found none.
The current whereabouts of Glover’s legal companies remain unknown.
Glover’s claims to legitimate authority of companies is more “fluff,” as none are conforming to the law in either state where he maintains his business dwellings.
The allegations have been disturbing but have also raised even more questions about accountability for public figures on social media as it relates to exaggerations, half-truths and straight up lies.
Efforts to reach a representative for Kenyon Glover Enterprises Friday proved unsuccessful.
California DMV records, driver’s license, along with California court records establish the truth and correctness that Glover’s date of birth is February 1, 1978. Glover’s IMDbPro page shows that the 45-year-old imputed his birthday as February 1, 1982.
Amid the barrage of criticism, Honk Magazine learned exclusively that acquaintances of Glover in the entertainment industry have started to distance themselves from the controversial influencer.
Last month, Glover posted an image to Instagram with the caption “Had an amazing time at the L.A. Sports Awards.” We researched the event and found that the show took place in Los Angeles over a decade ago. Honk Magazine found that the screenshot was derived from a sit-down interview with veteran sports reporter Joe Grande, from a video Grande published to YouTube in April 2012.
Honk Magazine can confirm that the video was active on September 29, 2023. Prior to October 2, 2023, the video was removed by Grande’s channel after Glover posted the two of them together. Worth noting, the action also followed the newsbreak of the California judge’s assault verdict and the Louisiana sexual misconduct claims.
Most telling, Grande, formerly of Big Boy’s Neighborhood, on-air with Ryan Seacrest, NBC Sports, and FOX Sports, has other videos still active dating back 10 years.
In removing the video, Grande is clearly trying to distance himself from Glover and the media storm that has skyrocketed him into the focus of a scandal-hungry public.
But it was during the time that the pattern of assaultive behavior surfaced that eagle-eyed social media users noticed cringe-worthy blunders in Glover’s online posts and started to question his authenticity.
“He is so fake, I mean nothing about him is real,” Pamela, who has worked with Glover, told Honk Magazine. “He has a big Desiree tattoo on his arm, but on social media he photoshops it out.” She added, “he pretends online to drive expensive cars, but in actuality has a Kia.”
We were able to do some digging and discovered that Glover, a former Pasadena, California, resident, still maintains CA license plates. Honk Magazine found out exclusively that the vehicle linked to those California plates is registered for a Kia Soul.
The influencer has been swept up in a flurry of controversy after onlookers started noticing some of his social media messages were suspicious.
Glover recently shared a post on Instagram suggesting it was a paid partnership with a Malibu, California-based company by the name of Pacific Coast Greens. Glover ordered his audience to go check out the company. He also tagged PC Greens in the post saying, “What an awesome brand.”
Problem is, Pacific Coast Greens is out of business, and has been since 2019. From the backlink posted on Glover’s post, there is no activity for the company on a dormant Instagram account. We reached out to the company to see if they had rebooted their brand, and found an inoperative website, and the phone number (310) 456-0353 on the PC Greens corporate Facebook page is not in service.
The Malibu Times reported in 2019, “After 28 years, Pacific Coast Greens is closing its doors.”
The independent grocer closed its doors for good on Nov. 10, the outlet reported. “Sadly, after the devastating Woolsey Fire, it is no longer possible for us to continue with our mission,” Michael Osterman, the owner, said at that time.
The closing of PC Greens was also documented by Getty Images in Malibu, on December 28, 2019.
Proving that Glover’s paid partnership, if indeed it was, had to have occurred prior to November, 2019 – some four years ago. Some thought it was misleading that he would post an advertisement for a company that was out of business.
“I think this is very dangerous, using this platform to spread misleading information,” one of Glover’s online followers told Honk Magazine. “I feel like everything you’re saying is all for clout.”
“I think these influencers get so caught up in people liking their posts that they have to go in the vault and just find something to share. Whatever can make them look relevant,” another social media user commented. “That’s what I think happens. Only logical explanation.”
Glover is reportedly in collaboration with Cee Jay Bold Entertainment and acts as a contributor to the company’s media outlet Celina Fashion Magazine. The entertainment company manages events around the world, bringing together talent such as Glover and Imani Capri, the pair reputedly have been romantically linked.
Emails to Cee Jay Global Entertainment went unanswered. We also reached out to Dr. Alisa Whyte and Dr. Karim R. Ellis, who have both presumably worked with Mr. Glover through Cee Jay Bold Global Entertainment. Both declined to comment.
Interestingly, Dr. Ellis, founder of Empowered Education, more recently posted an encrypted message on his Facebook. The post states, “most people are walking liabilities disguised as attractive assets.”
Glover, 45, has been reportedly dating 43-year-old radio personality Imani Capri since 2022. The influencer has left flirty comments underneath Imani’s pics too, commenting heart fire emoji and love hearts. On social media, Capri has certainly expressed endorsement, having shared various posts in support of the minister to her Instagram and encouraging positive energy on Facebook.
The rumored couple keeps things private. We attempted to reach Imani Capri through her website and also WOVU radio station in Cleveland, Ohio, where her show “Conversations in Courage” broadcasts. Multiple emails requesting a comment regarding Mr. Glover went unanswered.
Honk Magazine has exclusively learned that Imani Capri is not entangled with Mr. Glover’s legal affairs. Sources close to the situation say Capri is not amongst Glover’s victims pertaining to the domestic violence charge, sexual assault claims, current restraining orders or the judge’s guilty assault ruling against him.
Honk Magazine has discovered PSA sites and informative targeted messages against Glover on social media. Various platforms have started to emerge providing public knowledge about the spiritual advisor. These developments arrive in the wake of the media onslaught exposing Glover’s assaultive behavior.
Glover has posted on social media, “I speak to make an impact. I speak to uplift the brokenhearted. I speak to deliver people from depression. I speak to empower the minds of those that are lost. I speak for those that can’t speak for themselves. I speak as an Ambassador of Christ. I speak as God’s loyal Soldier. We should use our mouths to bless and not to curse. That’s a true reflection of the character of Christ.”
What is most bizarre is that though Glover boasts more than 200k followers on Instagram, it appears that his “likes” in the thousands show up immediately after he posts his content. Yet Glover’s comments usually only range between 3 and 13 per post, on an average, suggesting that it is not organic engagement.
One entertainment insider told Honk Magazine that “he [Glover] is paying for a bot service to grow Instagram that’s why his comments are always low.” The insider stated, “he uses Instagram as a way to prey on women.”
During that conversation, the source expressed “he [Glover] spends countless hours going through accounts liking pictures from his personal account (kenyondglover) and a business account (kenyongloverenterprises).”
The insider went on to explain “that’s how he lures women to his site. For a long time, he was playing bait and switch following his current flings then after he conquered them sexually he’d unfollow them and begin the pursuit all over. He’s dubious,” the source contended. He believes he is some sort of Casanova, out here manipulating all of these women with no standards either,” the source said. “He’ll get with anybody, he is nasty,” added the insider.
“He [Glover] has been in legal trouble with the courts for harassment and stalking in the past,” the source stated. “The pursuit is amusing for him and screwing different people, it’s all a game to him,” the source leaked.
Echoing a similar report from the L.A. Reformer. Thursday, the Los Angeles based outlet established that a direct source of information with insights on Glover’s primary lifestyle was revealed. The report stated that a source familiar with Glover mentioned that the minister had spoken to them, “I have been with a lot of women, I mean a lot of women.” The source went on to say that Glover allegedly preys on “all the women,” labels women as “his assistant,” and that the athlete was “cycled.”
The source also alarmed the L.A. Reformer when they proclaimed, Glover allegedly “pursues and chases women, wooes them, sleeps with them, and then he ghosts them.” The source added, “that’s his lifestyle, that’s who he is.” While stopping short of labeling Glover as a human trafficker, the source did allege to the outlet that “he is a womanizer.”
This week, as news broke of Glover being sacked from Kim’s ‘E40S’ film production, many started to weigh in on what this means for the actor moving forward. The downside is that the prospect of Glover’s disputable claims to fame not securely held, or in this case, dangerously likely to collapse, presents potential new challenges for collaborators and companies.
Particularly Glover’s backers could be jeopardized if a full-scale conflict starts. As endorsers weigh the gravity of the situation and their public involvement with Mr. Glover, the impact might have a ripple effect on those who are said to be linked to the talent, such as Imbue Alkaline Water, Box Cast TV, Preach The Word Worldwide Network TV, 1sodios, Senwot Network Films, Thoughts of Black Men, FaithHopeGrace film, and others, per reports.
Honk Magazine reached out to one of the organizations that Glover has been closely associated with to obtain a statement. The informant said viewpoints are varied right now. “For these reasons, we have decided not to comment publicly.”
Glover has been marketed as a spokesmodel for On-Time Sunwear. The parent company, Let’s Go to Work Entertainment Network, is based in Atlanta, Georgia. Emails to the company and CEO Eddie Bell requesting a comment about Glover went unanswered.
“The current allegations are of such a serious nature that I cannot be involved in any ongoing activity with Mr. Glover,” an insider wrote in a statement to Honk Magazine. “In my view, nothing about him says he is a minister.”
Glover had indicated that he volunteers at My Friends House Foundation in Los Angeles. In a reference check call on Thursday, Melanie with the administrative team confirmed “I can tell you that he does come to volunteer. I haven’t seen him in a while, but he is a volunteer here.”
The charity has been serving the Los Angeles community for more than fourteen years. It is unclear if Glover volunteered at the ministry before he moved to Dallas, reportedly in 2019, and or if he volunteers at the mission when he visits Los Angeles. The call was prompted because Glover had posted a picture of himself on his social media volunteering at the mission several months ago in 2023.
The administrator also stated, “I recommend him for whatever he is up for.” It is unclear if she has learned of the disturbing allegations against Glover.
Now, there will seemingly be more eyes on Glover following the unprecedented newsbreak and spectators will be paying close attention to what would be his new normal. Not just for this moment, but for good.

Chloe Bailey Sparks Mixed Reaction to Her Crush Confession – Being “Convinced” She’d End Up With Kendrick Lamar
Chloe Bailey has always been unapologetically authentic; the multifaceted singer and actress recently made waves in the social media world, revealing a piece of her past celebrity crush that sent fans into a frenzy. During an Instagram Live session, Bailey casually shared that she was massively into Kendrick Lamar phase, the famous rapper a few years ago, so much so that she was “convinced” they would end up together. While this might seem innocent, her candidness about this youthful dream of a romantic connection with the Compton rapper has sparked a mix of reactions online, with some fans swooning and others raising eyebrows.
Bailey, who has long been a huge fan of Kendrick’s music, confessed her admiration in a nostalgic and heartfelt way. “About eight years ago, I had a whole Kendrick phase, and I was convinced I was going to be with him,” she shared, reflecting on how deep her fandom ran. She added, “I’ve been a die-hard Kendrick fan from day 1. So I haven’t just hopped on the bandwagon.” Bailey had been captivated by Kendrick’s artistry long before he became a superstar.
The polarizing conversation speaks volumes about the nuanced dynamics of fandom and celebrity culture. Her comments quickly caught the attention of online critics. While it seems her feelings stemmed from a past crush, many people questioned the appropriateness of joking about it, especially considering Kendrick’s public relationship with longtime partner Whitney Alford. One Instagram user disapproved, stating, “He’s married, so why would you even post this? SMH.” Others echoed this sentiment, questioning Bailey’s respect for Kendrick’s relationship and accusing her of crossing a line.
But many fans came to Bailey’s defense, reminding the critics that crushes on celebrities, even married ones, are nothing new. “So y’all don’t have crushes on celebrities that are married? Method Man? Idris Elba? Denzel Washington? Come on now,” one follower humorously pointed out. Another fan calmly pointed out, “She said 8 years ago!” emphasizing that this was a memory she shared, not her present-day fixation.
Central to the discussion is an inherent truth: celebrity crushes are a universal phenomenon. Chloe’s admission was probably a lighthearted memory peek into her younger years, admiring one of hip-hop’s most extraordinary talents. Whether she was crushing on Kendrick Lamar or another prominent star, it’s evident that the notion of distant admiration is a sentiment many can identify: signifying a harmless crush is a totally normal part of being a fan and nothing to take too seriously!

Ice Cube Reveals Hollywood Turned Down His Sequel New “Friday” Movie
For fans of the “Friday” series, the dream of a new installment seems stuck in a frustrating loop of Hollywood bureaucracy. Ice Cube, a legend in both hip-hop and film, recently opened up about the hurdles he’s faced in trying to bring another “Friday” movie to life. Speaking candidly on Cam Newton’s Funky Friday podcast, the multi-talented West Coast icon revealed that studio executives have repeatedly shut down his vision for the franchise’s next chapter. And if you ask Cube, the problem isn’t his creativity; the decision-makers just don’t get it.
“Like, I know what it needs to be, and they don’t,” Cube told Newton, pointing to a former New Line executive, Toby Emmerich, as a significant roadblock. Ice Cube had written a script he believed would revive the beloved series, even imagining Chris Tucker’s return to his iconic role as Smokey. But studio execs reportedly balked at the storyline, which featured time spent in jail. “They was like, ‘Ah, jail’s not funny. It’s too much time in jail. How can you make jail funny?’” Cube explained, expressing his frustration with their lack of vision. Ironically, he pointed out, Hollywood has greenlit numerous successful jail-centered comedies, like Orange Is The New Black and Let’s Go To Prison.
Ice Cube didn’t mince words when describing the disconnect between creative talent and studio decision-makers. “More Hollywood execs don’t know what the f**k they’re talking [about],” he said. And when Newton suggested taking the project to another studio, Cube explained the legal red tape: “It’s not that simple. We did the movie through New Line, and they attached it to all the sequels. Has to come out through New Line.”
The rapper-turned-actor’s frustration is palpable, but it’s clear that his passion for the project hasn’t waned. Ice Cube’s ability to capture the humor and heart of everyday struggles made the 1995 classic “Friday” a cultural phenomenon. For Ice Cube, it wasn’t just a movie; it was a cultural milestone that sparked laughter and dialogue about life in the hood, told through an unfiltered comedic lens. Fans have been yearning for a return to the franchise’s hilariously relatable world, and with Ice Cube’s track record of success, it’s hard to imagine a script penned by him falling flat.
Hollywood, take heed: Ice Cube’s artistic vision deserves recognition. While his latest album, ‘Man Down,’ reminds fans of his brilliance in the rap game. However, many still hope Ice Cube can finally say “Bye, Felicia” to Hollywood’s bureaucracy and ultimately produce the much-anticipated sequel that “Friday” fans want. After all, who better to encapsulate the laughs and life lessons of a modern-day “Friday” than the man who originally initiated this beloved series?
