Prosecutors Unveil Escort Texts In Explosive Diddy Trial Twist

H

With its high-profile trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs reaching a climax, federal prosecutors have thrown a certain bit of courtroom music on the backbeat. Prosecutors unveiled a fresh batch of purported text messages, which they say were sent by a male escort to a mysterious “device owner,” that got a bit more up close, as well as personal, into what they argue was “freak-off” sex parties bankrolled and arranged by Combs. The presentation in Manhattan federal court, filed under seal, supposedly includes graphic discussions dating back to 2009 that the escort named first as “Jules” and then as his contact allegedly had with the unknown contact.

In the messages, Jules is allegedly invited to board a last-minute flight from Los Angeles to New York City to make what is implied to be a paid appearance at one of the now-infamous “freak offs,” with a “tip” guaranteed for his involvement. What comes next sounds more like a red-eye travelogue than a legal document. Once flight plans had supposedly been worked out and those of you briefed, Jules texted upon landing that he was getting a shower before going out.” The contact responded with a hotel room number and said he should be there in 20 minutes.

If it feels like that night should have been a long and trying one, it apparently was for Jules, who asked for his return flight to be rescheduled while complaining of having “not slept for almost 2 Days” and calling his hosts “rabbits” a descriptor that prosecutors say painted a crazy party environment. From exact arrival times to room numbers and post-party fatigue, the messages provide a granular, if surreal, peek at the mechanics of those events. Prosecutors appear to be citing those details to make larger allegations about Combs’ role in orchestrating and bankrolling illegal events that involved paid escorts.

Despite Combs’ denying all accusations as part of a “coordinated smear campaign,” these text messages, if confirmed to be real, will add layers to the already spicy situation. And with the trial nearing its conclusion, the prosecution is making it clear that it won’t leave a stone unturned or a screenshot unexamined. Between testimony, timelines, and now, purported travel logistics, the Diddy trial sounds as much of a mess behind the scenes as it does in the stories being told to the judge.

Snoop Dogg Wants To Pay Someone $10,000 A Month To Eat Ice Cream

Snoop Dogg has had a lot of job titles over the years, but “official ice cream taster” wasn’t one of them until now — and he’s hiring someone else to fill it. His company Dr. Bombay just opened applications for the role, and it pays $10,000 a month.

The gig is fully remote and open to anyone on the planet, which Snoop announced himself in a video that’s exactly as laid-back as you’d expect. “I love the paper, but not the paperwork,” he said, explaining that HR firm Deel is handling the logistics while he handles, presumably, the ice cream.

The actual job is less “sit around and eat pints all day” and more part-time cultural scout. Whoever gets it will track flavor and food trends around the world, report back on what people are eating and talking about, and work directly with Dr. Bombay’s in-house flavor lead to help shape what the brand does next. It’s a three-month contractor role, and Snoop’s team says they’re actively looking outside the usual resume pile — creators and non-traditional applicants welcome.

Dr. Bombay itself leans nostalgic, with flavors like Long Beach Fruit Cart, Sticky Caramel Apple Pie, and Peanut Butter Jelly Time already sitting on shelves at Walmart and moving through DoorDash and Instacart. Somewhere out there is one very lucky applicant about to get paid five figures a month to have opinions about ice cream, and honestly, good for them.
