UK R&B Star Willum Maindo Shares Stunning New EP ‘Hard Enough’

Willum Maindo shares his highly-anticipated new EP ‘Hard Enough’ with lead single ‘Get It’, proving once and for all that he is a force to be reckoned with. A slick fusion of Hip-Hop and R&B, Willum takes the listener from melodic grooves to introspective deep cuts and tales of caution with mind-blowing bars and soul-soothing vocals. ‘Get It’ sees Willum Maindo at his finest with a deep, resonating bass, energetic drum machine beats and powerful vocals revealing a personal narrative through candid lyricism and philosophical retrospect.

Speaking about the new EP, Willum Maindo shares: “‘Hard Enough’ is an EP about two themes: Healing and Appreciation. Healing occurs every time I create music and that process is always different. Appreciation is where I allow myself to think about how far I’ve come and how much I’ve learned in the last few months.”

It’s clear from ‘Hard Enough’ that Willum Maindo marches to the beat of his own drums. His method, almost completely self-contained from writing to mastering, is unaffected by charts or commercial intentions, which helps him to stand out from many of his contemporaries and ensures he is one to watch out for.

Morojele Music Debuts New Artist Lil Kizzle

Lil Kizzle

Canadian music label Morole Music Group has officially announced the debut of the freshest hip hop artist to grace their roster, 16-year-old Lil Kizzle. With the considerable amount of talent pouring out of Toronto, Lil Kizzle has come an incredibly long way for someone who is surprisingly still a teenager. The animated and perfectly seasoned artist is undoubtedly one to watch.

Though he has never attended a concert or stepped foot on a professional stage, the lugubrious artist is currently readying to join the label on its 2022 “Proceed With Caution” Canada-wide tour this fall alongside four other artists on the MMG label.

The label launched the artist with the release of the new single “Don’t Step”. In the video, viewers can take in Lil Kizzle’s infectious flow over an unshakable gritty, underground production.

David Arn’s New Acoustic Vibe “Watershed” Just Released

The long awaited follow-up album to David Arn‘s “Traveler Tales” is finally here. A mix of soft acoustic songs written and recorded during the pandemic, this is music about separation and isolation amid confusing emotions of the time.

The title song “Watershed” is the exception which deals with a soldier’s PTSD, Anguish and Hope. “This is a song written for a friend” Arn said. “If you are of a certain age in this country you have seen war and most likely know those for whom the war never really ended.”

The accompanying dramatic music video is now available on Arn’s YouTube channel.

Arn plays piano, keyboard and rhythm guitar accompanied by lead guitar from Nicky V. Hines, dobro and lead guitar, from Toby Wilson, bass Issar Shulman. Backing vocals are expertly rendered by Tyra Juliette and new London artist, Daisy. Wilson arranged many of the songs.

All songs are composed by Arn with the exception of “We Seemed a Good Idea” which was co-written with J.F. Sobecki.
