Quon Is Ready To Drop A New Single ‘Aint A Boss’ on March 22
Veteran rapper and OG Quon is gearing up to bring his new single, entitled “Aint A Boss,” to the forefront of the music scene soon. ‘Aint A Boss’ is the follow-up of his last track, ‘Did That,’ which he released in January. ‘Aint A Boss’ is said to have been influenced by the false things and situations around us, especially on social media handles, where many people claim to be who they are not. It is accompanied by a two-minute and fifty-second video filmed in Houston and is produced and directed by Amir Perry (Yo Gotti, Pusha T, E-40). Inspired by the late Pimp C (UGK), the Quon pays homage to the dead and living legends of Houston city and surrounding areas.
Dequon Stovall, better known by his stage name Quon, is a recording artist born in New Orleans. He grew up mostly in Arizona and Texas and discovered his calling in the music industry as a teenager. Quon began rapping with his pals and performing open mics at various locations throughout the neighborhood. His music is influenced by pioneers such as UGK, Jay Z, Too $hort, and Tupac Shakur. Under his previous alias, Young Quon, he has also worked with some of the biggest stars in the hip-hop industry, including Paul Wall, Kidd Kidd, E-40, and Lil’ Keke. In the past, he released the bangers like ‘OG Status’ and ‘Did That’ which received positive remarks from both listeners and critics. Known for his assured, eclectic, and amusing music, seeing “Aint A Boss” hit the charts will not be surprising.
‘Aint A Boss’ will be available on all major streaming platforms on March 22, including Spotify and YouTube. Meanwhile, you can follow Quon on Instagram to learn more about his upcoming projects and on YouTube for all his past work.

Benji Miller captures the weight of loving someone through depression on “Hey Darcey”
R&B artist Benji Miller has crafted a deeply empathetic, poignant track with “Hey Darcey,” a song about the emotional toll of watching the slow fade of someone you love. The track is the second single from his forthcoming debut EP, “Love Or Pain,” and offers a reflective look at an artist who isn’t afraid of having tough conversations with honesty and heart.
Built with warm, understated R&B production that lends the track an intimate sound where every melodic choice feels intentional. The production is free of dramatic arrangements, giving space to the emotion and putting the vocals into the spotlight. Benji Miller’s honest, understated performance has a quiet openness that gets to the uncertainty, helplessness, and hope that are at the heart of the story.
“Hey Darcey” is about those who support loved ones with depression and the confusion, concern, and emotional exhaustion that is often left unspoken. The reflective tone is an encouraging reminder that compassion, patience, and presence still matter, even when solutions seem impossible to find. “Hey Darcey” is a story for the ones who may be going through the same struggles, and reminds us that music can still be one of the most powerful ways to connect.
