Diddy’s Sentencing Date Looms After Shocking Mixed Verdict

H

After months of courtroom drama and public scrutiny, music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing the next chapter in his legal saga sentencing. While the jury’s mixed verdict has left both his supporters and critics reeling, Judge Arun Subramanian has now set an uncertain date for what could be the most pivotal moment in the Bad Boy Entertainment founder’s storied life. Combs was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, charges that, while serious, don’t carry a mandatory minimum sentence.

Still, each conviction carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison, potentially resulting in a 20-year term if the sentences are stacked consecutively. The jury, however, acquitted him of two counts of sex trafficking and one of racketeering, a decision that has sparked intense debate both in the courtroom and on social media. With the bond request denied, Diddy remains in custody awaiting sentencing. His legal team has remained tight-lipped since the verdict, but speculation continues to swirl over whether Judge Subramanian will factor in the time Diddy has already served.

The courtroom was reportedly tense during the final moments of the trial, as the jury handed down their verdict that seemed to split the line between accountability and acquittal. Legal experts caution the public against drawing too many conclusions from the decision, emphasizing that the final sentence rests solely in the judge’s hands. “Whether this is the end or just another twist in Combs’ legal journey, remains to be seen,” said a source close to the proceedings. “But it’s clear the court isn’t done with him yet.”

Fans and followers alike now find themselves in limbo, watching, waiting, and wondering what the future holds for a man whose legacy has been permanently altered. The sentencing date may be tentative, but the stakes couldn’t be more real. While the public continues to debate what justice should look like in this high-profile case, Diddy’s road ahead is uncertain, and the final chapter is far from written.

Snoop Dogg Wants To Pay Someone $10,000 A Month To Eat Ice Cream

Snoop Dogg has had a lot of job titles over the years, but “official ice cream taster” wasn’t one of them until now — and he’s hiring someone else to fill it. His company Dr. Bombay just opened applications for the role, and it pays $10,000 a month.

The gig is fully remote and open to anyone on the planet, which Snoop announced himself in a video that’s exactly as laid-back as you’d expect. “I love the paper, but not the paperwork,” he said, explaining that HR firm Deel is handling the logistics while he handles, presumably, the ice cream.

The actual job is less “sit around and eat pints all day” and more part-time cultural scout. Whoever gets it will track flavor and food trends around the world, report back on what people are eating and talking about, and work directly with Dr. Bombay’s in-house flavor lead to help shape what the brand does next. It’s a three-month contractor role, and Snoop’s team says they’re actively looking outside the usual resume pile — creators and non-traditional applicants welcome.

Dr. Bombay itself leans nostalgic, with flavors like Long Beach Fruit Cart, Sticky Caramel Apple Pie, and Peanut Butter Jelly Time already sitting on shelves at Walmart and moving through DoorDash and Instacart. Somewhere out there is one very lucky applicant about to get paid five figures a month to have opinions about ice cream, and honestly, good for them.
