SZA Calls Out Shannon Sharpe for “Tacky” BBL Question During An Interview With Coco Jones
Recently, SZA, a prominent voice in R&B, took issue with sports analyst and podcast host Shannon Sharpe for asking an awkward question about her past cosmetic surgery. This incident happened on a recent episode of Sharpe’s podcast, Club Shay Shay, where he was chatting with rising R&B star Coco Jones. During their talk, he brought up Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBLs) and mentioned that SZA had previously expressed regret about her procedure. He asked Coco if she knew anyone who regretted getting one, saying, “Have you talked to anyone that regrets it, like, ‘Whatever you do, don’t do this?'” Coco gracefully deflected the question, saying the friends she talks to usually advise going for it.
SZA, however, took to social media to voice her frustration, not with Coco, but with Sharpe’s question. She pointed out how inappropriate it was for him to bring up that topic with Coco, calling it “tacky.” She made it clear she was disappointed, saying, “Lmaooo now why would this be a question for Coco… now Shay Shay.” Her comments sparked a bigger discussion online, with many of her fans defending her. They criticized Sharpe for making his female guests feel uncomfortable and suggested he should focus on their talents instead. One fan commented, “Love you Unk, but stop asking your women guests about other women… just ask their opinion on the topic.”
Interestingly, this incident might have cost Sharpe a chance to interview SZA in the future, as she seemed open to being on his podcast before this awkward moment. Instead, she chose to express her thoughts through social media, where she has always been candid. SZA’s response to Sharpe highlights a growing trend of artists, especially women, taking control of their own stories. There’s a fine line between genuine curiosity and sensationalism, and this situation reminds even experienced interviewers to be mindful when tackling sensitive subjects.

Hymaginn steps up with a smooth and melodic new release “She Got It”
Hymaginn’s “She Got It” is a smooth, melodic release that marries the softness of R&B with the swagger of hip-hop. It’s playful, polished, and immediately appealing. The song is about admiration, attraction, magnetic feminine presence, that unmistakable feeling when someone owns the room.
“She Got It” is inspired by the allure of strip club women, but broad enough to celebrate any woman a man finds captivating, and keeps its energy light, fun, and undeniably feel-good. That’s what makes it so appealing.
The melodic heart keeps the track warm, the hip-hop edge adds just enough bounce and cool to keep it going. This is the kind of record that fits easily into a late night atmosphere. Smooth enough to chill to, but upbeat enough to keep the spirits high.

Prince Bambii releases raw emotion on new track “Ctrl Alt Rpt”
Prince Bambii breaks convention with “Ctrl Alt Rpt,” a fearless, boundary-pushing trap collaboration that feels futuristic, intense, and emotional all at once. Dark production, inspired by the sound of technology, anchors the track with a mechanical edge, leaving room for deeply introspective storytelling.
Most striking is its contradiction, hyperactive delivery crashing headlong into reflective lyricism, for a sound that’s explosive and self-examining. There’s tension in the design, but also intention. Every beat is urgent, every moment purposeful.
“Ctrl Alt Rpt” is an experience of innovation, mood, and raw expression, and it adds up to something strikingly original. Prince Bambii makes a bold statement that feels wired for the future, but deeply human at its core.
