What is Pillargram? Everything you need to know about the subscription service for content creators

Pillargram is a membership platform that connects content creators with fans and supporters. Mainly, it offers financial tools that let supporters subscribe to projects that give creators a predictable income stream as they continue to create content. The platform is a modern take on the classic concept of patronage. Historically, artists such as painters, musicians, and authors sometimes relied on wealthy donors’ patronage to finance their work. Pillargram takes that core concept and enables a much larger audience to finance artists and creators they like at affordable monthly rates.

Your fans, or Pillargramers, can pay as little as a few dollars per month or per post for access to your work. You will get paid monthly or every time you release something new. You can even manage rewards for each tip, especially if higher rewards involve meeting Pillargramers or custom work.

The number of people currently supporting you is always visible on your page to other patrons of the Pillargram platform. Also, the primary way that you communicate with your supporters is via the feed and chat on their page. You can post text, images, and videos. Pillargram also lets you block off certain posts to specific tiers. For instance, you can make it so only new posts are shown to those contributing at least $1.99.
