Tell us a little more about when you first got into music?

When I was seven my parents had just divorced and I used to spend a lot of time with my mom listening to house music(urban techno) and RnB. Her favorites at the time were R.Kelly and Janet Jackson. She got me a keyboard and I started taking lessons, and singing in the school choir. I had my first vocal solo the following year.
