Everything You Need To Know About Pop Artist, Ullie Swan

Everything You Need To Know About Pop Artist, Ullie Swan

Ullie Swan is an indie dark pop artist from France.  She’s a singer, songwriter, multi musician and music producer and just released her new album titled “6%” on every digital platform.
She is self-taught and produced it on her own from the first note to the mixing in her recording studio in the South of France. 6% is about human emotions, it’s like a musical healing process.  It’s a dark pop, electronica, ambient album. with influences like: Archive, Portishead, Radiohead, IAMX, Muse, Lana del Rey.. Her songs deal with apologies, depression, Alzheimer disease, personal reconstruction, self confidence, doubts, growing up in a strange world far from children’s dreams, invisible scars, and pain, love, positive mindset, law of attraction.
It all started with classical training when she was six years old. She learned the flute at the music conservatory for 10 years but wanted to stop to learn guitar and piano on her own. Music production has been part of her daily life since she was 20 years old and she never stopped since. She learned watching tutorials online, practising a lot, sharing with professionals, asking some questions..
Over the years, she built her recording studio “Swaman Productions” because she didn’t want to use what she had learned just for her personal projects. “Music becomes immortal if it’s recorded. Music should not be reserved for an elite. Recording your voice is an experience to live, it’s like jumping in a parachute. It’s all about emotions and pleasure.”
She also recently recorded from her phone the Kamala’s Harry’s historical speech to create a song called “Kamala’s speech”, available everywhere..
A report released in 2018 looked at the Grammy nominees and those who made it on the year end Billboard Hot 100 chart between 2012 and 2017. The research revealed that only 2 percent of producers are women. Ullie founded in January a group to try to bring together all the “female music producers of the world”. They can help each other, share on every subject, organize some meets up in different cities, do collabs.. “Female producers are so under represented year by year, it’s important to gain visibility for the next generations. We are all connected. When a woman succeeds, all women win. You’re not alone. We’ re in this together, and stronger than never, it’s time to change these statistics.”

Captain Iron and the Windrift Band put on a sci-fi pop show with new release “Ultra Sound”

Captain Iron / Windrift Band

Captain Iron / Windrift Band opens a vivid portal with “Ultra Sound,” a bold, creative dance-pop song that fully embraces cinematic storytelling. From the outset, the track establishes itself as more than just a catchy club-ready anthem, it’s a narrative-driven experience wrapped in glossy, futuristic production.

“Ultra Sound” is a great track because of its unique idea, a sexy fembot synth lures astronauts into a trap, then uses an ultrasonic tractor beam to steal their ship. It’s fun, a little strange, and very different from what you usually hear in pop music. This lets Captain Iron show off his unique lyrical style. The story feels like it’s moving forward with each beat, like it’s a movie.

It’s easy to see how “Ultra Sound” could grow even further with full-scale production or collaboration, since its foundation already offers plenty of possibilities. Captain Iron / Windrift Band gives us a song that is both fun and smart. “Ultra Sound” doesn’t just want people to dance, it wants to take them to a colorful, imaginative world where stories and sounds come together thrillingly.

Séhkou turns pain into power with new release “Black Emotive”

Séhkou

Séhkou starts a very personal chapter with “Hebrews 5:7 (Black Emotive),” a powerful song from his Solus project that mixes music, poetry, and spiritual reflection. From the very first notes, it’s clear that this is more than just a song; it’s an experience.

Séhkou starts with a haunting spoken-word piece that sets a mood of deep thought and emotion. His voice is calm and measured, with a quiet intensity that pulls the listener in. As the song goes on, it turns into a structured verse, and you can feel a change, a movement from tension to release that feels planned and earned.

“Black Emotive” is about grief and endurance, it looks at the sacred space where emotions are not hidden but honored. The record channels a sense of supplication and resilience, turning personal struggle into something almost transcendent. The biblical reference of Hebrews 5:7 inspires this.
