Exclusive Interview: Rising Artist Bxndzszn

Hello Bxndzszn, Thanks for coming to Honk Magazine to talk about your career.

Tell us a little more about when you first got into music?

For starters, music has always been a part of my life but I really fell into creating music based on it being my way of expressing myself due to me being an introvert .

If you could describe your sound/style in one word, what would it be and why?

If I could describe my sound/style in one word it would be evolutionarily because as I age so will everything else.

What would you say to any aspiring recording artists who look up to your work?

I would tell  them to keep going no matter what and if that’s what they really want it is possible!

What quote or mantra do you live by?

“Get rich or die trying” and “with age comes wisdom”

What is your hobby outside of music?

Outside of music I really just like to enjoy life. My hobby outside of music would probably be me just staying positive and staying productive whether that’s playing the game or seeing the world.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years, I see myself having achieved a lot of my goals in which I’ll be making music, living life, and spreading positivity. I am Bxndzszn !

Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?

Lol I’m consistent so there will always be. But I plan on getting more music and content out!

What is the inspiration behind your latest song?

The inspiration behind my latest song “destiny “ is in alignment with my life and how it’s not all positive

What are your “5 things I wish someone told me when I first started” and why. Please share a story or example for each.

Honestly this is a question that I can’t really answer because although there are things that I wish I was told… the fact that I did it for myself makes it more worth it, in my opinion of course!

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

I’d recommend to them that breaks are very much needed and that mental health is very important.

Night Wolf and The Fods deliver hopeful pop bliss on “Kickback”

Night Wolf and The Fods

The single “Kickback,” co-released by Night Wolf and The Fods, carries a naturally gentle, warm, relaxed atmosphere that fits perfectly with late-night city drives or any moment of solitude meant to shake off the pressure of daily life. This track is an all-new rework of The Fods’ original song.

Producer Night Wolf retained only the original track’s vocal elements, rebuilt all production content from the ground up, and refined the final work into a polished ambient pop piece with subtle trip-hop textures. The core members involved in this creation include Neil “Birch” Birchall, Alan Winn, Chris “EZ” Ranson, Paul “Ol” Collins, and lyricist Rob Critchley.

Every part of the creative process serves a unified overall mood, with none of the production layers overpowering the others. The biggest strength of this work is its outstanding balance, and it feels both reflective and vividly fresh, both relaxed and holding a quiet, uplifting tension.

“Kickback” is the first collaboration between the two acts, who first connected through a radio station. Their natural creative alignment made their artistic chemistry develop exceptionally smoothly. This partnership will carve out its own unique place in indie pop and chill electronica.
