RAPPER SICHAT IS BREAKING THE STATUS QUO AND ADVANCING TO NEW HEIGHTS IN HIS MUSIC CAREER

Tell us a little more about when you first got into music?

Both my parents are hobby musicians so music was always part of my life. When I was about five years old I remember watching a rock show on TV and I thought to myself:“ This is what I wanted to do.“

At twelve I finally got the chance to learn the drums and from there I was practicing like crazy to pursue my dreams of becoming a musician. I played in many bands over my teenage years and always took great pleasure in songwriting. Unfortunately, I was most of the time the only one in the band with serious ambitions. So bands were falling apart again and again.

In 2013 I moved to Stuttgart (GER) to become a member of Way to Bodhi. Here things finally were different. I met people with the same ideals as mine. The perfect ground to flourish as an artist. For the band, I thought of myself in sound design and electronic music production. That way I could contribute even more to the bands’ compositions. We even managed to get a world record.

We were working hard, every day. Still, things started to slow down, and because I am a very impatient person, it was inevitable that we had to part ways one day.

After that, I tried to found my own band. But I quickly ran into the same problem again. Finding people with the same ambition and mindset was impossible. So I had to drop that as well.

So here I was, over a decade of bands, composing and self-improvement and nothing worked. I was devastated. I had to make a decision. Me or the world.

And I decided: me.

I wouldn’t allow anyone to stop me from chasing that one dream I have. I was not born with any kind of exceptional talent and if I’m not where I want to be in my life, it is not because of others. It is because of myself.

So SicHat is like a promise to myself. Become better with every song, with every release. One step at a time. I thought of myself in audio engineering and graphic design. If I have to do everything by myself, so be it. If you could describe your sound/style in one word, what would it be and why?

I guess the word would be: unexpected.

I have a vision of how I want my music to sound. And at the same time, I tend to mix and combine different styles and genres together. A lot of time I am surprised how well some of those elements can actually work together.

Neither my listeners nor I can expect the next song I ́ll create. But that is what makes SicHat so exciting to me, because to surprise yourself is a really cool thing.

What would you say to any aspiring recording artist who looks up to your work?

To become the best you can be is something only you can achieve and no one else. As long as you can get up one more time then you feel down you will see success in whatever it is you do. If you fail 100 times try 101 times. It’s not success that makes you better it’s your mistakes. Every failure is one more stepping stone on your path to greatness. Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?

After Fire, we are now actually planning the next release yes. There are three more singles that I want to release for this year and I already got enough songs for the next year as well. I will keep writing new songs and aim to release a new single every 2 – 3 months. There are also some plans to connect our next music videos with a hidden story over several releases.

Leyla Romanova finds strength in silence on new release “Self-Control”

Leyla Romanova

Leyla Romanova‘s new single, “Self-Control,” is a powerful emotional release that feels more like a manifesto for surviving modern chaos than a song. In a world of opinions, urgency, and emotional exhaustion, Romanova offers a track based on one radical idea: not reacting.

“Self-Control” immediately creates tension and clarity. The drums keep everything together with discipline and purpose. As the textured instrumentals expand like waves of thought through a crowded mind, the bass anchors the listener emotionally.

The contrast between outside noise and inside stillness makes the song compelling. Romanova’s work captures the feeling of being overwhelmed by pressure, opinions, and distractions while silently retaining personal peace. There are no major uprisings. But restraint is power. The song knows energy conservation is a survival strategy.

J’mall expresses the pain of chasing someone else’s success over your own on “Unattainable”

J'mall

J’mall’s latest single, “Unattainable,” expresses the pain of chasing someone else’s success over your own. The song explores the emotional void caused by constant comparison rather than motivation.

“Unattainable” is about realizing that no matter how hard one works to meet others’ expectations, the reward will never be satisfying. J’mall explores the stress of “keeping up with the Joneses” and the exhaustion of comparing yourself to standards that weren’t meant for you.

The song’s honesty resonates, the message doesn’t feel preachy or polished. It feels personal, like J’mall is sharing life lessons. The record’s quiet strength is its embrace of individuality and personal responsibility without pretending it’s easy.
