DJ, producer and songwriter Lauren Flax shares second single “Body Control” off her forthcoming EP, Out Of Reality out August 6 via 2MR. On “Body Control” Flax ups the tempo halfway through and then brings it back down, slowly, to its initial hypnotic pace, a celebration of a woman’s sexual agency and right to bodily autonomy.
“Body Control” follows the first single/title track “Out of Reality” premiered by DJ Magazine calling the single “expansive and ethereal.”
The most recent of her mesmerizing take on Pale Blue’s “Breathe” – saw her experimenting with a new style of writing. “I wanted to explore that sound more,” Flax explains, “more of a synth exploration, textures with less beats.”
