Eminem Celebrates A ‘Without Me’ Milestone By Re-Releasing The Video In HD
The song appears on the rapper’s classic album ‘The Eminem Show.’ …

This year marked the 20th anniversary of Eminem’s influential album The Marshall Mathers LP. To celebrate two decades of the record, Eminem re-released his videos “The Real Slim Shady,” “The Way I Am,” and “Stan” on in HD on YouTube. But now, Eminem is saluting another major milestone: The rapper’s “Without Me” video has officially surpassed one billion views on YouTube.
Celebrating the impressive feat, the rapper has also given his 2002 “Without Me” video an HD treatment so that fans can get the full experience. The visual has everything — from Eminem cross-dressing on a faux talk show to the rapper dancing on Elvis Presley’s turd — and showcases the heyday of MTV-era videos. Antics aside, the visual’s general plot follows Eminem and Dre. Dre as the two MC’s are called on a mission to stop a young child from listening to the rapper’s explicit record.
While the video just now broke a billion views, the rapper’s The Eminem Show had already garnered a handful of accolades. At the time of its release, The Eminem Show was the best-selling album of 2002 and has since been certified Diamond. The album has seen worldwide sales of 27 million copies, according to NME, which is tied with Norah Jones’ Come Away With Me as the second best-selling album of the century, behind Adele’s 21.

“Home Sweet Home” by Michellar delivers a heartfelt tribute to seeking comfort in adversity

There is something incredibly honest about Michellar’s latest single, “Home Sweet Home.” From the moment the first note hits, listeners are drawn into a deeply personal and universally relatable anthemic ballad.
Based in San Francisco, singer-songwriter and producer Michellar invests considerable emotional fidelity into this track, crafting a hauntingly evocative melody that echoes the longing we all feel when searching for a place of safety, whether physical or emotional. “Home Sweet Home” goes beyond merely telling a tale; it unravels a feeling that resonates in the quiet moments between the lyrics.
The beautifully restrained production allows Harrison Black’s vocal contributions to take center stage; his performance is delicate and robust, infusing the composition with a palpable sense of vulnerability and resilience to the song. Lyrically, “Home Sweet Home” employs the poignant metaphor of a runaway reuniting with a father, which symbolizes the intrinsic human desire to return to the comfort of familiarity while also depicting the internal conflict of escaping one’s demons. Mixed and mastered in the UK before returning to California, the track possesses an atmospheric depth that enhances its immersive quality, transforming each listening experience into a rich auditory journey.

F1lthy Challenges DJ Akademiks to a Boxing Match After Controversial Comments on Playboi Carti’s MUSIC

The hip-hop scene is buzzing with excitement, and it’s not just about the music this time. F1lthy, a prominent producer who played a big role in Playboi Carti’s new album MUSIC, has thrown down a bold challenge that caught everyone off guard. This all started when DJ Akademiks, a well-known media personality, made some waves with his comments about the album’s launch, including some questionable claims about who was really behind its direction. Akademiks suggested that rapper Kendrick Lamar was the one creatively guiding the album, but F1lthy stepped in to set the record straight.
Instead of accepting the correction, Akademiks dismissed F1lthy, saying he didn’t even know who he was. For someone as influential as F1lthy, known for his work since Carti’s Whole Lotta Red, that comment felt personal. In response, F1lthy took to social media and issued a playful challenge, “You owe me a boxing match at Barclays Center.” Many fans are now excited about the idea of these two going head to head in the ring. Recently, it’s become trendy for celebrities to settle their disputes through boxing matches.
However, beneath this playful banter lies a more serious issue about how much respect producers deserve in the music industry. F1lthy has heavily influenced the unique sound of MUSIC, and his talent deserves recognition. While Akademiks may grab headlines with his commentary, it’s F1lthy’s beats that listeners truly enjoy. As the back and forth continues, it’s clear that their tension is far from resolved. Whether we’ll actually see a boxing match at Barclays Center is uncertain, F1lthy is ready to defend his name and fight for recognition.
